Our First Meeting

When you contact ergonexus LLC you will be in direct contact with me. My voice mail, mail and e-mail are entirely confidential as I am the only one who listens to or reads the messages.

The first step is a brief evaluation on the telephone to determine your needs. If you are looking for educational services, I will discuss with you whether or not the subject matter is one that I can satisfactorily address. If you are considering consultation services, I will take time to determine if the problem is one in which I can assist you before taking the next step of an in-person evaluation meeting. If a first consultation meeting is warranted, I will discuss with you who should attend the first meeting. Initially I meet with the individual most central to and aware of the situation that is to be addressed. If there is an additional person or persons who are involved with the situation they may also be included in the first meeting.

In our initial meeting we will discuss your goals: whether you need relatively narrow input, such as character evaluations of top hires, executive coaching or advice on handling destructive employees; or whether you want a broader evaluation -- such as how much satisfaction is a part of the organizational culture or, if you need a more wide ranging look at the basic function of the organization, how its culture expresses (or interferes with) that function and how well the organization’s image aligns with both of these.

I firmly believe that contact with the head of an organization is essential in order to make contact with and help the organization. At the same time I know that it is essential to evaluate how good the work connections are between what I term the “head” and “body” of a company, as well as within the body of the organization itself. These communication links need to be addressed in later meetings either through the head of the organization or with members of the lower levels of the organization.

My working relationship with you is paramount in my ability to provide my unique approach to your needs. From our very first contact -- and at all times -- I listen closely and not only welcome but require input from you as the client about what you want, how well the process is working for you and how we can improve our relationship to achieve your goals. In that way I can accomplish the task of improving your work situation or having your organization become as productive and satisfying as possible.
